Replacement of inflatable supers at Windsor Dam

Description

The project consisted of work for the de-installation of the existing supers, handling and finally the installation of the new supers that were supplied by the client.

Main features

• Increase 1: Decommissioning of existing fusegates. Cleaning and preparation for new installation. Installation of the new fusegate and commissioning and testing;
• Increase 2: Dismantling of the existing fusegates. Cleaning and preparation for the new installation. Installation of the new fusegate and commissioning and testing;
• Increase 3: Dismantling of the existing fusegates. Cleaning and preparation for the new installation. Installation of the new fusegate and commissioning and testing;
• Fusegates 4-A and 4-B: Dismantling of the existing fusegates. Cleaning and preparation for the new installation. Installation of the new fusegate and commissioning and testing;
• Installation of a work cofferdam;
• Repair of concrete surfaces;
• Formwork and concreting of new concrete supports for the new fusegates.
