Description
As part of the City of Trois-Rivières’ project to bring the Matton Pumping Station up to standards, Deric Construction repaired the overflow pipe to the St. Lawrence River and upgraded the Fleuve pumping station. This project included civil and mechanical engineering work as well as electrical, automation and control, and piping work.
Main features
- Completed preliminary electrical and mechanical work
- Dismantled the electrical input
- Installed new 70 HP pumps
- Dug the channels for the new inlet
- Installed the channels and built the new inlet
- Connected the temporary station to the existing pressure pipe
- Commissioned the new temporary pumping system
- Dismantled mechanical and electrical equipment
- Carried out excavation and other work to connect the Fleuve and Matton pumping stations
