Deric Automation operates in the automation and electrical work sectors in the province of Ontario. The company has over 30 years of experience providing a variety of engineering, construction and maintenance services for private clients operating in the steel, material management, paper and miscellaneous facilities industries.
Deric Automation, along with its strategic partners, provides a complete package of services, from utility connections to sensors. Our services include : power distribution design, system automation, panel building, equipment procurement, installation, construction, commissioning, and maintenance. Deric Automation offers its electrical engineering services mainly in low and medium voltage, which includes electrical network studies (short circuits, protection, arc-flash, harmonics, etc.), feasibility studies and cost estimates, preliminary and detailed engineering (plans and specifications) and the specification of electrical equipment, CCM, etc.
This division also coordinates with equipment suppliers (distributors and manufacturers), coordinates with power producers (Hydro-Quebec, Hydro One, NB Power, etc.), develops and supervises tests and start-ups, and performs preventive maintenance and upgrades.
Deric Automation, through its automation service, is able to accompany its customers for all their projects according to their needs and the best practices of the industry. This support includes the design and integration of control systems, programming of programmable logic controllers, user interfaces (HMI, SCADA) and reports (Dream Report, SQL Reporting Services), as well as industrial computing and networking (in collaboration with your IT).
Deric Automation also offers specialized services that require particular expertise: modernization of control equipment either for the addition of functionalities (industry 4.0) or obsolescence (end of support, unavailability of spare parts) and machine safety according to the ISO 13849 standard.

Deric Group has completed over the years numerous bridges construction of spans up to 120 feet, including foundations, anchoring, sheet piling, cofferdam, temporary river crossing facility, and river and road traffic diversion.
Different bridge designs were built from concrete only, concrete and steel platform, to wooden span for park applications.

Deric Construction offers industrial maintenance services for fixed and mobile equipment as well as the reconditioning of construction equipment, industrial mechanics and electricity, control and automation, hydraulics, welding, and steel structure assembly. We also offer a full range of engineering, refurbishment, upgrading and new construction services. These services are also offered in Ontario through Cribtec Ontario who is a member of the Schneider Electric alliance.
The industrial maintenance team is composed of experienced and seasoned workers who have carried out major projects for public and private sector clients such as Arrimage Québec, Administration Portuaire de Québec, Glencore, Sollio, QSL and Vopak.
We offer complete services in industrial mechanics to our clientele, composed of private and public companies. We also have a mobile team that can travel to the client's location.

Construction Deric has completed several deep foundation projects for private and public clients. The installation of drilled and driven tubular piles in restricted and difficult to access areas are part of our specialties. These projects have been carried out, among others, for renowned clients such as Valero.
Our team is specialized in taking charge and completing temporary or permanent retaining projects. Specific projects, such as drilled temporary retaining walls, are part of our daily work.
