Belvédères, Passerelles et sentiers Bois-de-Liesse

Description

Reconstruction work on belvederes, footbridges and footpaths at Bois de Liesse and Pointe aux Prairies Nature Park. Construction Deric Inc. acted as general contractor for the execution of the work.

Main features

• Installation of wetland protection measures (sediment fence, tarpaulins, response plan and emergency kit);
• Demolition / disposal of existing walkways, fences and curbs;
• Felling / pruning / arrangement of trees;
• Eradication of buckthorn over an approximate area of ​​22,000m2;
• Excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concreting and backfilling of the concrete bases of the footbridges including screw or drilled piling work;
• Supply and installation of nine footbridges including metal structure, IPE wood decking, aluminum guardrails and grating;
• Supply and installation of equipment and park furniture (benches, baskets, etc.) ;
• Landscaping, including earth, tree pits, planting trees and shrubs, hydroseeding and sodding;
• Leveling of service roads and trails affected by the work.
