Health and Safety
The health and safety management of our construction projects is carried out according to our Health & Safety Policy and the preparation of a Health & Safety Prevention Program adapted to the particularities of each of our construction projects.
The preparation and implementation of health and safety prevention programs are done internally by our Health and Safety department.
Deric Group is also a registered user of COGNIBOX.
Award
Groupe Deric has won in 2015, from the Institut d’Acier armature du Québec (Quebec Steel Reinforcement Institute) the industrial award for its works on the construction of two silos of a capacity 37,500 metric tons each, for wood pellet storage in the Port of Quebec.
This new concrete installation technique, a first in Canada, uses an inflated Kevlar envelope as the formwork. The Kevlar envelope is maintained under positive pressure until all steel reinforcement and projected concrete works are completed.
Deric Group is the Canadian distributor of this new technique through its Domexpert Company.
